I’ve been lurking since the beginning and just within the last few months signed up here and joined the mailing list. I’ve noticed that Haiku newcomers are more likely to post to the forum and regulars are more likely to post to the mailing list. I wondered if anyone had considered combining the two. One example of a combined mailing list and forum is Ruby-Forum.com. Emails from the mailing list are posted to the forum and posts to the forum are emailed to the mailing list. I think it works pretty well.
Drupal is able to do this with ListHandler.
