Broadcom570X Type Network Card Not Working

Heya,

finally got a little spare PC to have some fun with Haiku on.

So far it works with Haiku x64 nightly image 51720 pretty good but on major issue is my build in network card two issues i noticed:

DHCP not working at all
And the MAC adress is shown as 00:00:00:00:00:00

Network Adapter is an Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5761 PCIe

So of course connecting to my wired network and the net isn’t possible. So i am wondering if i have a network driver bug or maybe lack of proper driver support since the hardware list only says “broadcom570x (bce & bge)” and not bcm.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ok poked more my self around this issue, and the driver is recognizing my card and seems to somewhat work. Network receives and sends data but the driver seems to be buggy. Due not reading the MAC address from the network card properly connecting to a network dosen’t work, will file a bug report later. Yeah when Linux works to good, go to a more buggy OS :smiley: Funstuff.
