Now that beta6 is out, and some major improvements have been done for system reliability, I am curious what improvements to the core OS (that is, not software ports) people are interested in for beta7?
I’ll start by listing my pain points:
Support for Indic languages (Devanagari script)
Desktop ricing
Hopefully, a Raspberry Pi 64bit ARM image for the RPi 4, RPi 400, RPi 5, RPi 500, & RPi 500+
Plus, working eMMC installations.
I have a Mega STE with an ATW800/2 card, which has a virtual transputer module. So, if someone wanted to port Haiku to the transputer modules, I think that would be spiffy.
I already got USB audio working on my docking station.
The next steps are figuring out the remaining problems with ACPI and i2c_hid, and then it would be nice to have intel_extreme do dual displays support finally (for which I have to start with more i2c: figuring out why the DDC over DisplayPort to DVI adapter is not working…).
Other things that would be nice are eMMC and DDC/CI, the latter would allow to set the brightness and other parameters for external displays (no need to navigate their built-in On-Screen-Display interface anymore…).
With that done I’d consider support for my current hardware reasonably complete, and I could focus on applications or doing other non-Haiku things for once 
Definitely Multiple Screen Support, Full Disk encryption, preferably LUKS compatible
But mostly R1 instead of beta7 
Waddlesplash did a bit of cleanup in the R1 milestone on Trac, but there are still 464 tickets to resolve. Assuming we don’t discover anything new or decide to actually add in things from some of our wishlists
I would like to see some improvements in the FAT and USB driver. I saw some incompatibilities trying to mount FAT32 drives because of how they were formatted initially.
-It would be nice to get second monitor working and extend desktop for it.
-Login screen support.
-Better bluetooth support.
-Better usb device support.
+1 for multiprocess WebKit2 in WebPositive.
Also,an Adblocker is a absolute must-have nowadays and should be included.
I very much appreciate the work on Bluetooth and hope to use my Bluetooth mouse or keyboard that I haven’t used for years (but it’s not really important,USB devices work perfectly fine)
Besides that,Haiku has all the features I need,but there are some missing drivers that would allow me to run Haiku on more of my devices.
Modern SMB Support would be nice 
GUI improvements
90-degree screen rotation, touch screen, gyroscope (screen orientation)
I wonder what is broken with Alt-Gr on European keyboards?
Not sure. I use the Polish layout and it works exactly like on any other OS.
I wrote an entire wiki page about it:
Basically: AltGr and the left “windows” key do the same thing; while alt and the right “windows” key do the same thing.
This is not so noticeable because a lot of keyboards don’t have a right windows key or people don’t use it. And usually altgr is used in combination with other keys, but the window key is used in combination with the mouse for window management. So, luckily the interferenge is not so bad.
