BeOS cddblinkd daemon sources

UPDATE:

I’m still looking for the cddblinkd sources…so I can point the program to a different CD database in ZetaOS.

However, FreeDB has been replaced by GNUDB! For instructions look at gnudb.org an alternativ place for the free CD database to make sure it stays free.!
I use CDex (Windows) and fre’ac (Linux), which are now pointing to GNUDB and it works great…no more MusicBrainz–hit or miss matching!

Finally located the source code!

To my surprise, I did not need to re-compile it to point to Gnudb. In the comments, it states:

Usage: [-p|–ppp] [CDDBServer1] [CDDBServer2]…
(Default CDDB server is freedb.freedb.org)
(If -p or --ppp is specified, will check for a PPP connection before
contacting the CDDB server.)

I updated my user boot script and I am now happy!

My boot script now states:

/boot/home/config/bin/cddblinkd gnudb.gnudb.org &

It works great now in ZetaOS and BeOS Pro 5!
