Any history of these clones ?. is it worth installing them

Never heard of eBos, so I can’t say. PhOS is of questionable legality. I’d stick with Max Edition or Zeta if I were you.

afaik nothing ever happened with it.
basically it was PE + haiku parts… from mid to late 2004.

the site seems long gone now.

though the download link doesn’t seem to work, the only CD image appears to be in one of those torrent sites, but i’m not sure if it is online.
